Death Penalty  Pornography  Freedom of Religion 

Death Penalty:  I believe that not for the reasons of killing the innocent, an extremely minor occarrance, or because of its natural cruelty to a person that human life should not be taken by the death penalty.  I sympathise with the vicitms of those on death row but do not believe that killing the vile criminal is a solution.  I absolutely do not want murders and such released, however.  Since 1977 over 500 people have been executed by the Government, not nearly enough to elevate the over-crowding issue or even enough to "scare the crime out" of criminals but 500 lives are no longer are alive.  I believe in locking them up and throwing away the key basicly.  I live in the Deep South, the portion of the country known for exections.  There is no basis for those claiming racial bais as more whites are executed per year than blacks and the prison population consist of roughly 45% of both groups.  These veiws are clearly my own and are open to discussion and debate if you wish to email me.  If you support my case please tell me and help me convince others to try and stop the seemingly useless killings.

Freedom of Speech/Expression/Press/Pornography:  I believe that today's society has overstepped its bounds and that GOD will take into account those that spread this filth to those who are easily influenced.  Those who agree with: the print of pornography as free speech, the production of films and television that openly portray sex whether showing specific parts or not, the use of foul and abusive language in open, public places, on television, or on the radio; should be pleased they have accomplished so much in such a short time.  True that sex and cursing has always been around even to the time before Christ, however it has not been until recently forced upon everyone.  Because of decisions such as Cohen v. California, when a man placed obsenities on his clothing and wore them in public, we are now forced to live with inappropriatness around us.  Later decisions allow for community standard laws set by local officals, but the problem is so great and continually occuring in new settings and manners that without Federal intervention the fight is already decided in favor of the "trash".  In Miller v. California, a 1973 case, obsenity is defined and may be regulated as (1) the work taken as a whole appeals to prurient intrest (2) the work portrays sexual conduct in a patently offensive way (3) the work taken as a whole lacks serious literary, artistic, political, or scientific value.  This definition leaves much to be desired and with with sinners such as our President change in these standards are sure to lowered to that of the "skum".

Freedom of Religion:  I believe that many who take the First Amendment too literally take advantage of Freedom of Religion.  Their appears, ever so faintly, a line between decency in religion between those of major religions and the others such as drug churches (that use LSD or other substances) or devil worshipers (an extremely hard title to define).  Major religions such as Christianity, Islam, Judaism have their extremist and have been known to kill in the name of religion, however they must face the consequences for their actions and cannot be allowed to hide behind religous freedom.  I also believe that the 3 previous major religions along with those of Hindu and several of the Oriental origin have logical basis's if not concurrent ideas; as those of Christianity, Islam, and Judiasm have the same GOD, just named different things.  I am intrested in any organizations that believe as I do and can help me add to my case or even those that do not that may arise questions that I can hopefully find in myself.

Abortion:  It is my belief that abortion is immoral, illegal, and just plain out wrong.  I believe that when a baby is aborted a life is taken, an act of murder.  I also believe that anyone who helps perform abortions is either a murderer or an accessory with clear intent and malice.  I understand the few cases in which abortion could be a plausible and useful solution; those such as rape or incest, or for the health of the mother.  In 1973 the Supreme Court in Row v. Wade made the mistake of deciding that one life is more important than other, barring extreme cases.  I do not believe that when a human becomes that of a baby, which should actually be decided by those in the medical and biological fields without political pressure, even while inside the mother it should be killed or the convenience of the parent.  I do not believe that being Pro-Life is an abuse to women and in no way support the oppression of women or any sane person,  if you agree with me please help me supply this idea of mine with facts and if you do not agree with me please contact me to help develop my understanding of the situation fully.

Homosexuals:   I believe that anyone that doesnot stay within the bounds of nature and human decensy in their sexual perversion is a sinner and should not be allowed to openly portray this offensive act without retribution.  I am no proponent of beating, dragging, or hurting gays however I will offend them with my belief and words.  Just as pornography I believe that this incredibly offensive sin is being forced on the public.

Taxes: Taxes are a needed institution that all living in the US should pay, citizen and not.  I am not well versed in the debate over corperate taxes versus income taxes and if anyone wants to enlighten me I am willing to listen.  I belive that the as I heard others say without the details that we could tax ever thing that sold or bought and with proper taxation we could eliminate income taxes, corperate and regular.  Everyone has to buy stuff, so the more you buy the more you have to pay.

Assisted Suicide:  People may see this as wavering on abortion and the death penalty but I believe assisted suicide should not be against the law.  If properly conducted those of a right mind who are in enough pain to want to end their life and are incapible should be allowed to go out peacefully.  I cannot comprehend what pain some people go through who want to end their lives just to stop htis pain.  If they feel this way and are of sane mind I believe that all the care we can do to help them should be administered, if in fatal cases I believe assisted suicide falls under this description.
